The first time I painted, studying with Shiloh Sophia, I created this painting as a gift to my wife, mysacred companion, for her birthday. I combined symbolism from both biblical stories and my own intuition about Mary Magdalene’s (Magdalena) energy, sensing the often-ignored importance of her life.
