Ghost Gum Trees evolved from a painting process of using sprayed water to merge two colors on opposite sides of the canvas. As the process evolved, trees on a red ochre landscape seemed to emerge. Later when searching for a title for this painting, I found images of Ghost Gum Trees on a similar landscape in Australia, a land to which I have never traveled.
